Why intentional living?

As a young adult in a tech-centered, live your own truth, follow your heart world, I constantly find myself asking how I can organize my life in a consistent, meaningful way that will prioritize the things that matter most to me. Follow along in my journey as I discover, and constantly re-discover, the most purposeful way to live in my seasons. It is important to me to not just survive my seasons, but to thrive in them while abiding in Christ.

This is how it all started…

My husband has tried to convince me for the past several years to start blogging. From a very young age, I loved to write. Stories, songs, information pamphlets for work and eventually church newsletters. I had a few blogs as a pre-teen and later as an older teenager, but haven’t done much serious writing as an adult.

My current season in life is as a working wife, heavily involved in church functions and events, and doing quite a bit of traveling every month to visit long distance family members. I am striving to balance work, managing my small home, saving for a house, growing in my relationship with my husband, and prioritizing spirituality and wellness.

I am extending a formal invitation to you. Would you come learn along side me? I will go ahead and say I am FAR from perfect. Any advice you glean or lesson you learn here is either something I am currently learning, or a lesson where I was recently the student. We are all evolving and learning as our seasons change!
